In the streets of our minds, a battle wagedbetween the voices that speak and the biases that engage
our thoughts are a jumble of emotions and pain
as we search for meaning, and a sense of purpose in vain
Â
their thoughts are a jumble, of emotions and paina mix of fear and desire, of hope and despair
they're searching for meaning, for a sense of purpose
but their biases are holding them back, like a pair of handcuffs
Â
they're afraid to confront, the demons they've created
the monsters of their minds, the fears that they've inflated
they're afraid to face, the music of their doubts
to overcome the biases, that hold them back, and shout
The minds of my generation, searching for a way
to break free from the chains, of their unconscious mind
to find a sense of peace, a world that's not insane
but their biases are holding them back, like a weight that's hard to define
their thoughts are a jumble, of emotions and pain
a mix of fear and desire, of hope and despair
they're searching for meaning, for a sense of purpose
but their biases are holding them back, like a pair of handcuffs
The minds of my generation, searching for a way
to overcome their biases, to find a new way
to see the world, to see themselves, to see the other
to find a sense of peace, a world that's not a blur
their thoughts are a jumble, of emotions and pain
a mix of fear and desire, of hope and despair
they're searching for meaning, for a sense of purpose
but their biases are holding them back, like a pair of handcuffs
let us break free from the chains that bind
let us overcome, our biases and our fears
let us see the world, in a new light
let us find a sense of peace, a world that's not a fight.

We are the artists of our own destiny
the brushstrokes of our thoughts, a work in progress
the canvas of our minds, a maze of twists and turns
a labyrinth of biases, and unspoken concerns
We think we're painting a masterpiece of truth
but our perspectives are skewed, our views uncouth
we're trapped in a web of our own making
a prison of assumptions, a cage of unspoken biases
We must confront the demons that we've created
the monsters of our minds, the fears that we've inflated
we must face the music, and dance with our doubts
to overcome the biases that hold us back, and shout
We're not just passive observers, but active participants
in the game of life, the dance of existence
we must take responsibility, for our thoughts and actions
to create a world of justice, of equality, of passion
The world is a complex tapestry, a weave of different threads
each one a story, a culture, a perspective unsaid
we must learn to see, to listen, to understand
to overcome our biases, and take a different stand
The conflict between Israel and Palestine, a tale of two sides
each one a narrative, a history, a people's pride
we must learn to see, the humanity in both
to overcome our biases, and find a path to peace, and truth
We cannot change the world, without first changing ourselves
our biases, our assumptions, our unspoken wealth
we must learn to look, to listen, to understand
to create a world of peace, a world where love can stand.
